# Property buyer fees

POST https://api.currenciesdirect.com/v1/property-fees
Content-Type: application/json

Returns a detailed breakdown of all fees associated with purchasing
a property in the specified country, converted to the buyer's currency.

## Authentication

- `apikey` header (required) — API key for authenticating requests

## Request

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects a PropertyFeeRequest.

- `property_country` (enum, required) — ISO country code of the property location
  - Allowed values: `AUS`, `ITA`, `ESP`, `PRT`
- `property_currency` (string, required) — Currency code of the property value
- `property_value` (double, required) — Value of the property in the property currency
- `buyers_currency` (string, required) — Currency code the buyer wants to use
- `residency_status` (enum, required) — Residency status of the buyer
  - Allowed values: `resident`, `foreign_buyer`, `eu_resident`
- `property_state` (string, optional) — State/province/region code (required for some countries like Australia and Spain)
- `property_postcode` (string, optional) — Postal code of the property

## Response

### 200

Successful calculation of property fees

- `status` (integer, required) — Status code of the response (1 = success)
- `correlation_id` (string, required) — Unique identifier for this request/response pair
- `buyers_currency` (string, required) — Currency code used for the calculated values
- `indicative_rate` (double, required) — Exchange rate used for the calculation
- `property_value` (double, required) — Property value in buyer's currency
- `property_fees_total` (double, required) — Total of all fees in buyer's currency
- `property_fees` (map from string to any, required) — Breakdown of individual fees in buyer's currency

### 400 Bad Request Error

Bad request - invalid parameters

- `status` (integer, required) — Status code (0 = error)
